Chloé Makin is a Clinical Psychologist and supervisor registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has 15+ years of psychology related employment and voluntary experience and has been practicing as a registered psychologist since 2015. She is a provider of psychology services with Medicare and DVA. She likes to work mindfully and holistically, integrating a range of psychology related therapies, with specific interest in psychodynamic modalities, somatic movement therapy and energy psychology.
Chloé has worked in rural remote areas with a range of people from varying cultural and language backgrounds, including: survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, people from LGBTIQA+ communities, asylum seekers in detention and adolescents navigating social and educational stressors. Furthermore, at Currumbin Clinic private mental health hospital she facilitated group and individual therapy for adults presenting with personality disorder, eating disorder, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.
