Hydrotherapy

What is Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is a water-based therapy approach which takes place in a 30-35ºC pool. Treatment activities vary from passive movements to active movements depending on the needs of the individual. Hydrotherapy is appropriate for individuals of all ages, from paediatrics to the elderly population. Pregnant women can participate in water exercises but should be cautious in heated pools for risk putting extra strain on the baby.
